Laugh riots capitalize on caricatures, satires, ironies and of course the occasional black humour which bring in the laughs. 'Urumbukal Urangarilla' has a mix of all these. There are moments of such hilarious episodes that the theatre rang with the explosive laughter.

'Urumbukal Urangarilla' intends to entertain. There are occasions where things go flat and there is a lull in the narrative. Parts of second half were so. But the movie picked up speed towards the climax and overall feel tended towards being impressive.

With an ensemble cast on board with good experience and comic timing to their credit, the tale of thieves had a good flavour. They have all done similar roles in the past and it wasn't a surprise to to see them enact their respective roles. Sudheer Karamana, Chempan Vinod, Vinay Fortt, and Aju Varghese have all done their characters well. Ananya and Janaki are the female leads and they too have done well.

Directed by Jiju Ashokan, the movie has come out well. Harinarayan and Jiju has scripted the movie and the dialogues are funny. The occasional lag is redressed in the climax scene. Overall, this laugh riot is a decent entertainer and is wroth the money.
