Naughty 'Vaalu', one of the most anticipated movies of recent times was to have hit the screens by the end of December. The film was scheduled for release on December 24th, but it has now been postponed again to February next. Considering the disappointment of fans over the procrastination, Simbu has come out in the open to let a word. "It is disappointing that I have not been able to meet the expectation of fans, with regard to release of 'Vaalu'. But, I wish to open the new year with a successful movie" he said.

Logistics issues seem to be cited as the reason for the delay in release of 'Vaalu'. The film will hit the screens in February 2015. Soon afterwards, Simbu has promised a mid-summer treat, with director Pandiraj's 'Idhu Namma Aalu'.
