Ahead of the shoot of Mahesh Babu's 25th film sometime in April, director Vamshi Paidipally has rubbished the rumour that the film is inspired by an Australian series. The grapevine has it that the untitled flick's storyline has been penned by a Newzealandian writer.

"Not true at all. It's false news. #Mahesh25 is not inspired by any series or any film," said the director, whose last film 'Oopiri' was an official remake of the French film 'The Intouchables'.

Produced jointly by Ashwini Dutt and Dil Raju, its story is by Vamshi, Hari, and Solomon.

Recently, Bollywood's KU Mohanan was roped in as the director of photography. He has done 'Don', 'Talaash' and 'Raees' in the past. As is known, Pooja Hegde is the film's heroine. Devi Sri Prasad long started working on this film's songs.
