At a time when Vijay Devarakonda has almost become synonymous with new-age cinema after 'Yevade Subrahmanyam', 'Pelli Choopulu' and the yet-to-be-released 'Arjun Reddy', he is bagging films by dime a dozen.

Awaiting the release of 'Dwaraka' on March 3, he is also bracing up to entertain the audience as a short-tempered medico in 'Arjun Reddy'.

The genres are contrasting. If 'Dwaraka' is a crime comedy, 'Arjun Reddy' is romantic-action drama. On the other hand, the film in the direction of Rahul Sankrytan will be a supernatural thriller.

He has a film each with two of the directors known for entertaining family audiences- Parusuram (high on the success of 'Srirastu Subhamastu') and Nandini Reddy, whose last 'Kalyana Vaibhogame' was a hit.

Further, he will do a film with Kranthi Madhav of 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju' fame and Deva Katta of 'Vennela' and 'Prasthanam' fame. Expect the latter to unveil a new Vijay.

In his interview to IndiaGlitz, the handsome actor had said that had he accepted any and every offer after 'Yevade Subrahmanyam', he probably wouldn't have got to do a 'Pelli Choopulu'. He waited for the right film to come. And the calculation is paying him rich dividends.
