Actor, producer, and general secretary of Nadigar Sangam, Vishal is an active activist in times of need for artistes. In lines with his principles, Vishal reached out to help a needy resident of Vijayaragavapuram.

Yesteryear stage actress Uma, holds the pride of roaring success in dramas. But the last few years have been unfavourable for her, as she came down with illness, and was found to be struggling to make ends meet even for everyday needs. Upon hearing this news, Vishal personally rushed to her help, donating funds for her welfare, from the actor's Devi Arakattalai.
