After a stupendous hit in Arindhum Ariyamalum, director Vishnu Vardhan, is now focusing his energies on Pattiyal starring Arya and Bharath in pivotal roles.

Having completed the talkie portion, Vishnu Vardhan chose to speak about the movie in detail.

He says, 'the movie is a narration of a sequence of events in the life of a couple of gangsters. It is just a simple film, which is sure to appeal to youngsters'.

'Set in Chennai, the movie would be an action-packed entertainer but would not have any violent scenes or gory bloodshed. Playing their role to perfection are Arya and Bharath'.

On the roles played by Pooja and Padmapriya, Vishnu says, 'They play girls next-door.' A couple of songs would be shot this month and the movie would be released by the end of February, said Vishnu.

On rumors that he would be directing Vikram later this year, Vishnu said, 'we had a couple of meetings and I narrated a couple of scripts to him, which impressed him. I am hopeful that we would do a movie later this year'.
