The weather situation in Hyderabad is said to be extreme in the next few hours. Director Of Enforcement, Vigilance & Disaster Management, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, has said that heavy rainfall is expected through the night. As such, residents should step out only if absolutely essential.

As many as 19 Disaster Relief Force teams have been deployed to handle the situation. "Heavy rainfall with gusty winds to continue in many areas of the city for the next few hours. Citizens are requested to stay indoors and take necessary precautions. DRF teams are on the field attending to citizen assistance calls," the Director said on Tuesday evening.
