Vasanthabalan, the director who gave us the heart-rending Veyyil recently, is all set to get wed to Vijayalakshmi tomorrow.

Vasanthabalan, who learnt direction under the apprenticeship of director Shankar, directed the film Album with Aryan Rajesh and Sruthika in the lead roles. Quite a while after his directorial debut Album, he entered the Tamil film scene again, only to leave an indelible mark in everyone’s hearts with his beautifully crafted Veyyil which went on to become a huge success.

The director will get married to Vijayalakshmi, who happens to be his relative, tomorrow at Ambal Ramasamy Kalyana Mandapam at Virudhunagar. The muhurtham is at 9 a.m.
