Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is not too far and the focus of politicians is on how to woo the voters ahead of the elections. Every politician has his own way of attracting the voters. Usually, it is always money, their basic needs and food. But this time, it looks like the strategy has changed. Thanks to COVID-19.

Politicians are going to take advantage of this as well. This time, it is all about face masks, paracetamols and sanitisers. Yes. Voters, who are used to tall promises of good roads and water apart from liquor, biryani, will now get free masks, dozens of eggs, vitamin tablets, and other essentials for COVID-19.

Volunteers are already distributing free items and now will spread to every household at least thrice before the municipal elections.

Also, volunteers of two aspirants in Kompally have already distributed one disposable mask, one multivitamin strip and sanitisers in slums.
