The magic of Vishal Bhardwaj, Shahid Kapoor, and UTV returns with Haider` on October 2 2014 to redefine their box office success after the bloody call for brotherhood in Kaminey` in 2009.

Previously when UTV, Vishal, and Shahid Kapoor shook hands in Kaminey` it was sensational for the desperados of raw, gun loving, mischievous cinema, to witness this new graffiti on the walls of Bollywood which was raw & delicious.

Vishal delivered a rich pail of style, rawness, action, with waters of attitude in Kaminey` and Shahid Kapoor matched it with his sensational and best performance till date..

After around five years Vishal Bhardwaj returns with Shahid Kapoor in a UTV production and this time Shakespeare is also invited to share the Kashmiri Kahwa in this adaptation of Hamlet` set in the troubled valleys of Kashmir.

Vishal Bhardwaj third dip into the Shakespeare valley starting with the brilliant "Macbeth" adaptation, "Maqboo" (2003), followed by the extra ordinary Omkara (2003) Othello` adaptation - Vishal Bhardwaj`s best till date that lifted the filmmaker in the top ranks of thinking filmmakers in Mumbai will be watched with eyes having great expectations..

Vishal Bhardwaj has never gone wrong in his adaptation of William Shakespeare and this time too wonders in story telling are expected.

Shahid Kapoor has given his best for Vishal who has transformed Shahid Kapoor from a light romantic lead to a weighty actor in Kaminey`.. if the promos are of any indication it is certain that Shahid will again push his boundaries further as an actor after Kaminey`.

Backing of mega production house like UTV in this fifty crore budget production (38 crore) has ensured 1100 screen release in India in spite of a big competition from Bang Bang.

Luck has played hide and seek with Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor both have failed to make the trade happy even after some quality work. The so called hit` tag is not that synonymous with Bhardwaj and Shahid.

For trade circuits Vishal Bhardwaj best performance at box office was 42 crore with Kaminey in 2009 (released in around 1200 screens worldwide on its opening day - excluding screens in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai which didn,t open due to some issues).

For Shahid immense talent as an actor and a wonderful dancer the trade circuits rate his 2013 release R..Rajkumar (critics - disaster, single screen - blockbuster) helmed by Prabhudeva the best for its 66 crore raking at domestic box office.

It`s a sad truth to find the trade evaluation of success for Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid kapoor is quite below par of their caliber.

Anyhow this time according to the same trade fundamentals lady luck is with Haider` in the name of Shraddha Kapoor who according to the industry is a lucky mascot whose presence springs box office surprises - Aashiqui 2`,`Ek Villian` proves the trade claims.

On the flipside Vishal Bhardwaj as a music director in Haider` has not being able to repeat the expected magic seen earlier in Bhardwaj and Shakespeare combinations. Agreed the target audience of Haider` is different from Bang Bang` and there is no competition between them as both are different genres still the four day weekend with two holidays will see some steal of audience from both the sides.

Relying heavily on the magic of Vishal Bhardwaj, Shahid Kapoor, and UTV coming together again with Haider` after the Kaminey` triumph and this time with Shakespeare joining in escorted by the fresh lucky charm of Shraddha Kapoor.. Haider` should milk in a weekend of 38 crore.. in this estimated 38 crore budget production... making it safe and showing Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor better days of box office recognition.
