Interacting with Jana Sena Party's social media wing on Friday, the actor has said that he will start meeting farmers from October onwards.

"If the farmers' woes are to be lessened, middlemen should be done away with. My party accords a prime of place for farmers and agriculture. Water conservation and unadulterated foods, among others, should be ensured for each and every farmer," Pawan said.

Saying that change won't happen in a day or two, he iterated, "I don't want to buy votes. Even if I want to, I don't have the money. The people should be educated that they are given Rs. 2,000-3,000 and are deprived of lakhs of rupees. A psychological transformation will happen over a period of time."

Confessing that he doesn't watch TV much, Pawan made it a point to say that he doesn't especially watch programmes which are critical.

"Some people in politics do criticize me. But when I happen to meet a Shabbir Ali or a Danam Nagender, we talk well," he said.

He exhorted his followers to mellow down. "Sunnithanga undali meeru. Politics is not the same as films," PK said.
