Youth found dead after he tears up Sarkar banners!

Tamil superstar Vijay's fans had a feast this Tuesday, giving their idol his career's biggest opening in Tamil Nadu (gross of Rs 30 Cr). However, some fans have also brought disrepute to the mass hero.

One Manikandan, aged 28, working as a call taxi driver in Chennai, had gone to his native place Kaveripakkam in Vellore district. It is said that Manikandan tore up the banners of 'Sarkar' that were erected there. His act angered Vijay's fans who trashed him for the vandalism.

Manikandan's relatives apparently rescued him from the assaulters and locked him up in a house. However, the uncontrollable fans gathered there a bit later and left after some time.

Later when the door was unlocked, Manikandan was found dead hanging on the ceiling. Cops are investigating whether he committed suicide due to the shaming he suffered at the hands of Vijay's fans or some of them entered the house through the backdoor, murdered him and escaped.
