Farhan Akhtar, who has been riding high on the super-success of 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag', is expectedly excited about his next film as an actor - 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'. On the other hand Vidya Balan, who had a sole release 'Ghanchakkar' in 2013, is looking forward to a much more high impact outing with the marital comedy.
Considering the fact that the film's promo, which was released over a month back, has seen such major all around positive response ever since it was unveiled, the battle is half won for the Saket Chowdhary directed film.
With 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' already being hailed as one of the most anticipated films of 2014, the countdown has already begun for an entertaining and out and out commercial film to hit the screens. For Farhan, it is akin to gaining an entry back in a familiar zone. With 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' pretty much demonstrating his flair for light hearted realistic affairs set in contemporary times, he pretty much has a loyal audience base in place.
On the other hand Vidya Balan has already shown her range in films as diverse as 'Kahaani' and 'The Dirty Picture'. Moreover, after being married for a year in real life too, the actress is pretty much expected to bring on the kind of nuances that would be a reflection in her reel portrayal as well.
There is a lot that is expected from Saket too. What had really worked in the favour of his debut film 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' was its originality. The way Saket approached the film's narrative as well as the spicy dialogues were some of the many highlights there. Now same appears to be the case with 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects' as well. With actors like Farhan and Vidya to his disposal, he has the stage set to create something unique all over again.
Produced by Rangita Pritish Nandy, Pritish Nandy and Ekta Kapoor, the film is all set for 28th February release.
