If all goes well as planned then we can soon see a beautiful casting coup of sorts, literally! Hot buzz is that Ad maker Prahlad Kakkar is considering to bring together India's two beauty queens and Bollywood sensations Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sushmita Sen in his forthcoming and much hyped project, 'Happy Anniversary'.
The film, which has Abhishek Bachchan in lead playing Aishwarya's husband, deals with martial issues. Talks are that Kakkar had approached Sushmita for the film and if she agrees, then she is expected to play a prominent character. As of now the former Miss Universe has only heard about the project and needs time to go through the script.
Already much has been written about Aishwarya's comeback film. While strong buzz has been about her doing Mani Ratnam's project, 'Happy Anniversary' had equally bagged headlines. But industry watchers wonder if she will agree to be part of the project which alleged to include her one-time rival, Sushmita. It can be recalled that the two had shared same platform during their beauty pageant days. However Sushmita beat Aishwarya and bagged Miss Universe title while the latter was hailed as Miss World. And since then there was cold war between the two. But apparently these things have now become a thing of the past.
If everything falls in place, then Aishwarya's role in 'Happy Anniversary' spans over to eight year - starting off as a 21 year old lady and then a mother of twins. Whereas Sushmita's character is about a woman who is caught in bad marriage and breaks free in course of the film.
