This year will see a number of star kids making their debut on the silver screen. While some have already set the stage on fire with their amazing performances, others are waiting in the wings to woo audiences. These kids have been influenced by the best in the industry while growing up and are ready to capture the hearts of movie lovers.

Here's a look at few of the rising stars:

Armaan

This good-looking grandson of the legendary Raj Kapoor had the whole Kapoor Khaandhan wishing him luck on the sets of his first movie. Armaan will be making his debut in 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' along with co-star Deeksha. He also the youngest actor to whom Oscar winning musician A R Rahman has lent his voice to. The music has been generating rave reviews and songs like 'Khalifa' and 'Maaloom' among others have become chartbuster hits. Armaan has been garnering positive responses after the release of the trailer which already has more than three million hits. 'Lekar Hum Deewana Dil' is a love story presented by Illuminati Films and Eros International. The film is written and directed by Arif Ali, who is renowned film-maker Imtiaz Ali's brother. LHDD is a new age love story about today's couple from the same banner that's known for its contemporary take on love stories like Cocktail and Love Aaj Kal,. The movie is set to release on 4th July 2014.

The dashing Tiger Shroff, made his successful debut with 'Heropanti' that released to a full house last week. The handsome actor who is well-versed in martial arts wooed the audience with his action sequences and dance moves. Tiger, who starred alongside Kriti Sanon managed to garner rave reviews and the film was a box-office hit collecting more than 50 crore.

'Heropanti' is the story of two young conflicting protagonists, their battles with society and their coming of age love story. Presented by UTV Motion Pictures & Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by Sabbir Khan, the movie released on 23rd May 2014.

The young actor is set to make his debut in the upcoming movie 'Fugly' which is touted as the youth entertainer of the year. Mohit is the cousin of actors Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor and had made his acting debut with Karan Johar's first-ever short film "Strangers in the Night" which was directed by Shakun Batra.

The actor plays the role of a young energetic and adventurous guy and is all set his debut movie. Directed by Kabir Sadanand and produced by Grazing Goat Pictures, the movie is slated for release on 13th June, 2014.

Son of well-known actor Anil Kapoor and younger brother to Sonam Kapoor, the charming Harshwardhan Kapoor will be making his much-awaited acting debut in the upcoming movie 'Mirza Sahibaan'.  The shooting for his movie starts in a few months and Harshwardhan is preparing to give his 100% to the role, eager to get into the skin of the character. The aspiring actor is also working as an assistant director in Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet'.
