There is confusion for the team of 'Jai Ramji'. Though the makers are claiming that Jacqueline Fernandes has been confirmed as the leading lady opposite Arjun Rampal, the 'Murder 2' girl is saying that nothing has been finalised yet and chances are minimal that she would be able to accommodate the film in her current schedule.

"Director Tigmanshu Dhulia wants to start 'Jai Ramji' pretty soon while Jackie travels with Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 2' cast and crew in a fortnight's time. This is not all as she also has to juggle between abroad and India for the promotion of 'Murder 2'. It is near impossible for her to be in India and shoot for 'Jai Ramji'", informs a source close to Jackie.

On the other hand the makers of 'Jai Ramji' are gung ho about Jackie being a part of the film. Says Tigmanshu, "Jackie's role in 'Jai Ramji' is like that of Pooja Batra's in 'Virasat'. Just like Pooja (who played an NRI in the film) accompanied Anil Kapoor to a village and experienced a cultural shock, Jackie (as Arjun's girlfriend) also goes through something similar. After an initial excitement of a new environment of finding herself in a small city settles down and reality strikes, her relationship with Arjun gets bad."

While Jackie has been heard telling her friends that she finds the role quite challenging as it is quite performance oriented, she is battling date hassles due to which she hasn't signed on the dotted line. In fact she is surprised that an announcement has been made in this regard when nothing has been confirmed yet.

When contacted, Jackie was hesitant to talk about the film. She did acknowledge that she had been approached for the role but denied signing on the dotted line. "It is an interesting film and role for sure but I haven't confirmed it yet. There are date related issues to be looked at. If 'Jai Ramji' starts now, I don't really see myself doing it as I would be leaving for abroad soon."

Looks like Jackie has pretty much waved 'Jai Ramji' to the film here!
