First it was five directors uniting for independent short films. Now it's five directors coming together to act in one Mollywood movie. The flick from Sujith S Nair 'Oru Korean Padam' will have five directors from the industry of which some will play themselves and the rest as different characters. It's Shutter fame Joy Mathew, Amen's director Lijo Jose Pellissery and Husbands in Goa maker Saji Surendran who will play themselves on screen.
Directors M A Nishad and Shyam Mohan will appear as other characters in the movie whose plot revolves around the making of a Malayalam film inspired by a Korean film. Maqbool Salmaan of Matinee fame plays the lead role in the movie which is being shot at Trivandrum and Munnar. The makers will also shoot some parts of the movie in Korea. Mithra Kurian, is the female lead, while Devi Ajith, Molly Kannammali, Tini Tom, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mammookoya will lend support.
