On your debut venture in Tamil Kanaa Kanden? I am happy that I made my debut at the hands of an acclaimed cinematographer like K V Anand. I played a refined baddie, which won me good name. All credit should go to Anand for it. As a result of it, I have enough offers in my kitty in Tamil now. On Ananthabhadram? It is an out and out Santhosh Sivan film. I am happy to be part of a film that is technically supreme and has a novel storyline. I am hopeful that the film leaves a mark at the box office. On acting in Bhagyaraj's film? Since my childhood, I grew up watching Bhagyaraj's movies. The whole of my family would go to theatres to watch his films. Now I am happy that I am part of his movie. Unfortunately my dad is not around to see this.
How did you get the offer? After watching my Kanaa Kanden,Poornima Bhagyaraj called me one day and asked me whether I would act in their film. Interestingly the movie marks the debut of their daughter Saranya in big screen. I immediately said yes. It provides me a great scope to learn the nuances of acting working with master craftsman like Bhagyaraj. |
