 There is no spelling mistake in the film’s title. It is just that Vinayan, the director, has preferred that one. But Vinayan has been something of an iconoclast in Malluwood.
There are many critics for him. But he is successful, and you cannot have very many arguments against things that succeed.
Vinayan feels Boyy Friennd will also face brook very little arguments.
The movie, at the core, is about the beautiful relationship between a mother and son. The movie has a campus backdrop to have a youth feel. There is also a murder mystery thrown into the whole scheme of things.
Vinayan says the film will have something for everyone.
Manikuttan is making his debut as the hero. He is looks young and is full of beans. Madhumitha, who has the experience of acting in Tamil, is making her Malluwood debut. She is as comely as they come.
Srinivasan as a cop, Mukesh as a Minister Lalu Alex, Jagadeesh, Captain Raju, Harishree Ashokan, Mamookoya and Bindu Panicker are all in the cast.
Jayachandran’s music has already caught the fancy of the public.
The other highlight of the film is the special appearance by K J Yesudas as himself in the film. He sings a song during a marriage ritual in the film. He also mediates when the two camps get into an argument.
Produced by Vidyasagar, under the banner of Harikrishna Productions, the film will be released in November.
