 Vinayan has earned a name for himself for the different plots and attempts that he comes up with, at regular intervals. A sharp visionary who creates mix ups that go well with the audience, a number of super hits stands as the examples for his thinking differently.
Be it with Vaasanthiyum Lakshmiyum or Karumaadykuttan which projected money to superstardom or with Aakaasahadoothu and Vellinakshatram which made scary nights with its content, his style of catering a difference when the industry is flocking behind the trend setters has always created mileage for him and his films.
And for this Vishu, he is there with Athisayan a film with plenty of graphics and animations, primarily aimed at the children who are enjoying the vacation for the next two months.
The film tells a plot based on the extra ordinary powers of Devdas, a ten year old child. He is a student with extra IQ, happens to become a Friend of R.K. Shekhar, a U S based scientist who has developed a special medicine which create extra ordinary powers in man.
 Once, Devan make a intake of the green medicine, and he himself starts his fight against the black forces of the society with his newly earned powers. The film will have shots in which Master Devan who presents the character of Devan is shown in sizes of ten times bigger than his actual self.
Athisayan was planned as the Onam release of 2006. But as it could not complete the heavy graphics work, the film's release was shifted to this Vishu. The graphic shots were completed at Hongkong, with perfection by specialist editors.
Jackie Shroff will appear for the first time in Malluwood through this film, as the scientist R.K. Shekhar. Kavya Madhavan appear as the school teacher of Devan. The other important cast includes Mukesh, Jayasuriya, Jagadheesh, Harishree Ashokan and Karthika.
The film has the story and the scripts by the director himself while Santhosh K Anand pens the dialogues. The music department is handled by Alphonse and Vayalar Sharath. Produced by Gokulam Gopalan in the banner of Shree Gokulam Movies, the film will grace the theatres on April 14.
