Some villagers of Anajpur village in Rangareddy district in Andhra Pradesh have tried to stop the shooting of Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa'. The villagers have alleged that some chemicals are being mixed in the nearby lake during shoots and the water is getting polluted due to that.

But the ‘Lingaa’ unit said that they have sought the permission of the irrigation department and village Panchayat to shoot there. It is to be noted that the same villagers have also tried to stop the shooting of Prabhas and Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' a few months back.

Superstar Rajinikanth, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha play the lead roles in ‘Lingaa’, which is being directed by K.S.Ravi Kumar. A.R.Rahman is the music director and Rockline Venkatesh is the producer of this much anticipated flick.
