Actor Kamal Haasan requested young writers to write stories suitable for senior actors like him. The Padma Bhushan awardee was one of the chief guests at an event in the Whistling Woods International Film School in Mumbai.
While speaking at the event, Kamal said, “Many young writers have started entering the Indian film industry but mainly right stories keeping young actors in mind. They should also write stories for senior actors like me like Hollywood where young writers work with aged actors”.
Kamal also said that the trend is gradually changing and Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan is spearheading this change. The ‘Viswaroopam’ star said Amitabh gives him the confidence that he will get chances to act in films for at least the next 15 years though he is nearing 60 now.
