Early this year, Rajumurugan, writer turned director presented a poetic love story with the visually impaired couple as lead characters. 'Cuckoo' was widely praised for its content and the lead actors’ wonderful acting. Rajumurugan's dialogues with political satire throughout the movie deserve a special mention too.
There were reports that he has got a script ready based on a short story and approached Dhanush, but the same has been dismissed as mere rumours by the director himself. The latest development is, Rajumurugan has met Vijay Sethupathy on the sets of 'Purampokku' and narrated a script. The 'Soodhu Kavvum' actor is floored by the storyline and has reportedly promised to take some time out of his tight schedule and do the film.
Vijay Sethupathy is currently busy with, 'Vanmam', 'Mellisai', 'Orange Mittai', 'Idam Porul Eval', & 'Vasantha Kumaran'. An official news regarding this exciting collaboration will be out in a few days time.
