Gopichand, who earned a mass hero image with his films like Yagnam, Ranam and 'Okkadunnadu' is now playing hero in 'Lakshyam' directed by Srivas and produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) on the banner of … Manisharma scored music for the film. Manisharma is one among the top music directors in the Tollywood and is known for melody as well as fast beat songs with equal élan. Keeping Gopichand's mass image, he scored music for the film. As the film has family, love, sentiment and action in its backdrop, the music director gave tunes to suit all classes of audiences. Of the five songs couple of them had routine commercial beat, one is based on melody, one is a remix and another is youthful.
Gullo Devudu… Singer: Madhu Balakrishnan
Manisharma's musical grandeur could be witnessed in this melodious tune. He imbibed soul into the lyric which is filled with the sweetness of the typical Indian family set up in this song by Chandrabose. The singer's voice reminds the audiences of Jesudas. The song begins with guitar music coupled with violin and was tuned in a melody base. It is a pure situational song. Manisharma, without going to the western musical instruments, used the Indian classical music instruments like veena and tabla. Though the tune gives the audiences a feel that they are listening to an old film song, the melody and the great literary value did not allow the audiences to skip it from listening. However, to give scope for a group dance, he chose to use drums and sitar music in the second stanza besides a folk tune in the backdrop. A must listen song for music lovers.
Sukku Sukku Singers: Tippu, Sujatha
This number is a routine commercial tune. It looks the song is a duet between the hero with a group of dancers. The lyric has a romantic touch and was tuned with a little fast beat. As the lyric suggests the hero and heroine tease each other with this song. Manisharma, however, could not kill his interest in Indian classical instrumental music and hence used violin, though there was a banging of drums to meet the fast beat. After the first stanza, there was a typical drum beat. However, the major sounds are from violin and key board only. The song has a good mass appeal.
 Chakkerakeli… Singers: Karthik, Shreya Ghoshal
This is yet another duet. There was a long introductory music before the actual start of the lyric. After almost 45 seconds of music the actual song begins. Manisharma tried key board mostly in the song, with the assistance of flute and guitar. . Before the last stanza again Manisharma used guitar and violin bits. Lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry scripted the lyric on the lines of a routine commercial bit of 80s and 90s. Such songs may not appeal the present generation youth but the middle-aged audiences who are used to such songs might like the lyric.
Niluvave… Singers: Hemachandra
This is a remix of an old lyric. Of course, there is a little change in the intro. Manisharma used only the tune of the lyric while remixing, but the background score and the entire music structure was changed. The shehnoy bit in the beginning was worth listening. The guitar and drum combination is good to listen. Hemachandra rendered the song with a youthful feel and the young audiences enjoy the song, though the lyric is an old bit. Especially Hemachandra impressed the audiences with his mellifluous voice.
Naa Coffee… Singers: Ranjith, Kalpana
This is a youthful and fast beat number. This is a different tune from all the other tunes in the film with full of western music and foot tapping music. The tune has a full of drumbeat and electric guitar, and keyboard music. Though the tune ha
