 For everything big or important, there is always a first time and that can be done only when one takes the initiative and shows the courage to get into the act. Something like that seems to be the essence of the new movie ‘Boni’.
This has the handsome Sumanth as the hero and this time he is pairing up with a stunningly beautiful Kriti Kharbanda who is making her debut as the heroine. The film also marks the debut of Raj Pippala as the director and the trendy music director Ramana Gogula as the producer.
 The film is being made under the banner of Green Mangoes which has been launched by Gogula. As per sources, the story revolves around a young and fearless man who has a strong objective to achieve something and for this, he takes a decision to join a don along with his mafia gang and what happens from there. The film also has Tanikella Bharani, Babloo, Velu, Sreenu and others.
The music for the film has been composed by Ramana Gogula and the audio has been received well in the market. They lyrics have been penned by Ramajogayya Sastry and the makers also said that there is a good reason why the title has been given on the tamarind seeds.
Sumanth has not scored a decent hit after ‘Godavari’ so this is more of an action and drama entertainer which will be a challenge to his mettle as an actor.
Raj Pippala is an NRI who was in the US but has come here for the passion of movies. Ramana Gogula from his end has spent the past one and a half year on this project so a lot of efforts have gone in this.
