Kajal Aggarwal is in her elements. An accidental actress, she has worked with superstars. Then she worked with Megastar himself! Saying that 'Khaidi No. 150' was an amazing learning experience, the actress says that Chiranjeevi is the best Mega hero she got to work with.

In this rare interview, the pretty damsel talks with specific honesty.

You have said there is something ironical about Chiranjeevi. Could you elaborate on that?

Chiranjeevi sir is extremely humble and gracious. He is a superstar, but he is one of the nicest, sweetest, most grounded individuals. The irony of it is just beautiful. It was one of the most overwhelming experiences to work with such an amazing talent. I am ecstatic that our film has grossed Rs. 106 cr in five days.

There is a comment that your role in 'Khaidi No. 150' is not important. What's your take?

I knew it right from the beginning as I had watched the original. I was fine with it. There are some movies you do for the character; there are some movies you do for the people.

What have you learnt from Megastar at a personal and professional level?

At a personal level, it's his humility.

And on the professional front, it's the fact that, with his energy, he constantly stands there in front of the camera and does not move till break is not announced. I think it's a habit which was there generations. But when it came to our generation, it kind of withered away. Working with Chiranjeevi sir, I realized the professionalism and attitude they used work with. It's just so contagious. When such a personality is doing that, everyone around too would do that out of respect. Work was far more efficient, smoother. There was great compatibility on sets. I have heard about the fanfare and am extremely grateful for the affection the fans are showering.

Of the two characters that Chiru has played in the movie, which one is your favourite?

Very difficult to answer. Shankar for his integrity, and Kaththi Seenu for his effervescence.

Did the generation gap concern you at any point of time?

But he is one of the coolest actors, he didn't let me once feel that he didn't belong to our generation. He is far more chilled out than most of us, trust me on that. He didn't let that disparity show. We all knew there is disparity. I knew it while signing up the film. He ensured that I was super comfortable. He treated me like his counterpart, his colleague.

He must have transferred some of his dancing talent to you. Are we right?

I tried my level best to match his poise and grace. I had a lot of fun dancing with him. He gave me small tips about, for example, how I can get the move right by bending my knee. And I would get it right in the first take by implementing such tips!

What type of conversations would you have with him?

Both professional and random conversations. I would discuss about food, travel, workout, books, random things happening in the world, I would ask him redundant, inane questions just to know his point of view. It's only once in 10 years that you get to act with such a star.

You have worked with Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and now Chiranjeevi. Who among these Mega heroes do you think is the best?

It's a complicated question. Chiranjeevi sir is the best. It's not a safe answer, but an honest answer. He will be anyone's favourite!

So far, you had worked with Charan only as a co-star. How was it working with him as a producer's star? And how was it like dancing with him and Chiru in the same frame?

He is always that easy-going person with whom I share a friendly rapport. We constantly pull each other's legs. He didn't change his behaviour just because he is producer. He was pretty much the same. Because it's Charan's film, I was far more comfortable and excited because it's his first film as a producer. He was very easy-going, but also very professional. He wants quality, he doesn't compromise on that.

To me, dancing with Chiranjeevi sir and Charan was an epic moment. It's my own 'Kajrare' moment.

As an A-lister, are you open for many more special numbers in future? Will it be only with star heroes?

I have no plans in the near future, but if something really amazing comes up, I will see. When I have not planned, how will I plan which star I will do such a number with?

Did you ever imagine that you will come this far when you debuted in 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' ten years ago?

When I did 'LK', I thought I will do just that movie. I thought I will do my MBA, and get back to books. I thought I will just do one movie that will look so good on my CV. That was my thought process. Thank god, that never happened. I love my job. I love what I am doing.

Has it been difficult to juggle Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood?

I am trying my best to strike a balance. How many hours a day can I work? I work for 12-15 hours a day, it gets very strenuous. I balance between Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Last year, 50 pc of the releases were in Telugu. I can do only 5 films a year. I can't physically and humanly take more than these. I am currently working with Teja sir in the film starring Rana. In Tamil, I am working with Ajith and am going to work with Vijay.

When are you going to get married? Do you have a boyfriend?

How many years can you give me? I am going to introduce you to my dad. (Laughs). I will get married, but not now. No, I don't have a boyfriend.
