Pramod - Pappan has been known for their stylish thrillers like Vajram and Taskarveeran, which were released in the previous years. Known as Mammootty specialists, both these film were typical Mammootty starers with boosted heroism and star styles. Now the news is that the director duo is in the plans for producing another film again with Mammootty in the lead. The duo has already fixed the title for the film as Jewel Alex.

Pramod Pappan is presently in the final session of their new film with Rahman and Kalabhavan Mani in the lead titled Abraham and Lincoln. Mani appear as Abraham, a petty don in the city. Lincoln is the young police officer who is all destined to grab Abraham and produce him before the law. The film is also a full fledged commercial mixture with foot tapping songs, mind blowing action and family sentiments. The film is all set to reach the theatres by March. Pramod Pappan will start the works on the Mammootty film as soon as they complete Abraham and Lincoln.
