As reported earlier, actor Mukundan's much-awaited ambitious movie Meppadiyan is all set to hit the theatres on January 14, 2022. Ahead of its release, the team is all busy with the promotions, as part of which the makers will be unveiling the trailer on December 23. It will also be screened in theatres. Unni, who is also producing ‘Meppadiyan’, had earlier shared his excitement on the movie's release. "Jan 14th, almost a decade back I had given my first shot as an actor and I can’t be any happier to let you all know that this Jan14th, I happily bring to you Meppadiyan, produced Under my banner, UnniMukundanFilms! See you at the theatres!," wrote Unni.
Directed by debutant Vishnu Mohan, the upcoming family entertainer will feature Unni in the role of a mechanic and garage owner. Meppadiyan has Anju Kurian in the female lead. Meppadiyaan’ has an elaborate supporting cast comprising of actors like Saiju Kurup, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Aju Varghese, Vijay Babu, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Nisha Sarang, Indrans, Kundara Johny, Sreejith Ravi, and Pauly Valsan among many others.
