18 year old Chennai girl dies falling of flyover after bike crash

18 year old Chennai girl dies after falling of flyover bike crash

In a tragic accident an 18 year old Chennai girl Priya died after falling off the Perambur flyover when the bike she was riding crashed on the parapet wall.  Her friend Abdul Malik who was riding also sustained injuries and was admitted to Stanley hospital by passersby.  The duo studying in college together hail from Madhavaram Milk Colony and were returning home after visiting a local mall.

Eye witnesses have stressed the importance of wearing helmets which Priya did not and sustained severe head injuries from her fall.  Others also have stated that Malik was overspeeding on his pulsar bike and lost control.  The Thirumangalam police are investigating the case and the body has been sent for postmortem.
