Upcoming screenplay writer and director Suparn Verma would have an interesting November starting this Friday as two of his movies are releasing on back to back weeks.

First to come would be crime thriller cum popcorn entertainer Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena that releases on 18th November. Suparn Verma makes his debut as a director in this slick PNC production that is carrying good reports due to its unusual plot and stylish coming of age treatment.

Soon after, on 25th November releases Hansal Mehta directed 'Anjaan', yet another thriller that has its screenplay written by Suparn Verma. Starring upcoming artists like Aamir Ali Malik [Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?], Mahek Chhal [Nayee Padosan, Chameli] and Vipul Gupta, the movie's publicity began well but has turned 'thanda' off late.

In the past Suparn Verma has done the screenplay for flicks like Karam, Janasheen, Zameen, Qayamat and Chhal and if one looks at the list closely, his forte seems to be in action-thrillers, which is good news for both EKEH and Anjaan!
