Singer Abhijeet and jewellery designer Farah Ali Khan has landed into legal soup following their rash comments following Salman Khan's verdict.

Abhijeet's views about "roads are meant for dogs and not for sleeping" and Farah's comments over "government insensitivity towards poor" got into controversy. So much an online debate broke out and also, both the celebrities attracted an FIR against them.

As per media reports, advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a complaint against Abhijeet and Farah, citing that their comments were derogatory. Following the complaint, an FIR was lodged under IPC sections 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), 153-A (promoting enmity between different groups and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

After the statement of Salman's sentence was passed, several fans and celebrities had expressed that the judgement was unfair. However Abhijeet seemed to have been too emotional over this and passed a mindless remark by posting, "Kutta rd pe soyega kutte ki maut marega, roads garib ke baap ki nahi hai I ws homles an year nvr slept on rd." (If a dog sleeps on the road, it will die a dog's death. The poor and homeless must not sleep on roads... I too was homeless once, but never slept on road).

On the other hand Farah Khan Ali, the sister of Suzzane Khan and the wife of the famous DJ Aqueel, via Twitter had blamed the government for not giving proper shelter to underprivileged as a result the poor people were homeless and had no option but to sleep on road!

Both of them later apologised for their words and said that they were misinterpreted. Farah tweeted, "And so, I would like to offer an UNCONDITIONAL apology for my tweets ref the homeless sleeping on the streets. My tweet may sound insensitive 2 u all with ref to pavement dwellers &I did not mean it that way so im sorry if it came out in anothr manner."
