'Chekka Chivandha Vaanam', ace director Mani Ratnam's upcoming film has been in headlines due to its star cast. Now it has been reported that a mallu face will be added to this the multi -starrer project. And it is none other than Angamaly Diaries fame Sarath Kumar. And as per information, he will play the supporting character in the film and will begin shooting in next month.

Apart from debut Angamaly Diaries, he was also part of Mohanlal's film 'Velipadinte Pusthakam', which came to limelight after the sensational song ‘Jimikki Kammal’.

The song called Entammede Jimikki Kamal has become famous around the world and has over 20 million views. Jimikki Kammal, originally a popular folk song later incorporated into the movie which was written by Anil Panachooran.
