With gossip about an alleged love affair between Akhil and Monal Gujjar in the house of Bigg Boss gaining traction, the former's parents have been asked about the same. And the mother-father duo of Akhil has denied that there exists something called love between their son and Monal.

"It's a game, it's just a reality show. Four people within a house have differences of opinion. And there are 16 members in the Bigg Boss house. They hail from different places. Akhil is merely friends with Monal. There is no love triangle playing out (between him, Monal and Abhijeet)," the parents have told a news channel.

Asked about their son getting repeat nominations, they said that he has been nominated by some inmates on silly grounds. "I understand that Abhijeet and Harika have nominated them. They have been in cahoots with each other," Akhil's mother said.
