Mahesh Bhatt, who is producing the film, confirmed it on his microblogging page."Timeless Beauty. Amala Akkineni makes a special appearance in our love saga - Humari Adhuri Kahani", Mahesh Bhatt tweeted.
'Humari Adhuri Kahani' is based on the story of Mahesh Bhatt's parents and the movie also stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidya Balan and Rajkumar Rao.
The last film, Amala acted in Hindi is 'Listen...Amaya', which was released in 2013. Mahesh Bhatt has a good relation with Nagarjuna's family. Mahesh Bhatt directed Nagarjuna in films like 'Criminal', 'Zakhm' and 'Angaaray'. Recently there were rumours that Mahesh is interested in introducing Akhil Akkineni as a hero in Bollywood.
