Actress Amala Paul, whose previous outing in Malayalam was the 2017 release Achayans, has signed a new project titled 'Teacher'. Helmed by the director Vivek who is best known for the Fahadh Faasil starrer films ‘Athiran’ and ‘Malgudi Days’, the movie was officially launched on Wednesday. at Kollam. Touted to be a family drama, the upcoming venture will feature Amala Paul in the title Teacher character. Apart from Amala Paul, Teacher will also feature Chemban Vinod Jose, Hakeem Shajahan, Prasanth Murali, Anumol, and Manju Pillai in important roles. The movie's script is penned by writers PV Shajikumar and Vivek. Cinematography is by Anu Moothedath of ‘Sufiyum Sujatayum’ and ‘Athiran’ fame.
In Malayalam, Amala Paul's next release is the much-hyped Blessy directorial 'Aadu Jeevitham' that has Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.
