Every year, since time immemorial, Kerala celebrates the festival of Bounty - Onam. Almost always pictured as the festival of boat race, fable has it that this is the one day that the great king Mahabali was excused to visit his citizens, after the story of Vamana Avatar. And to show their king how prosperous they are, what started off as a Hindu festival, is now a community affair of all Malayali people, to celebrate harvest together. This year, we would like to invite Mahabali to Tamil Nadu too, as some of the angels from his country are totally ruling the show in Kollywood.
