Following the footsteps of Suresh Gopi, Dileep is planning to play a honest cop in a new movie.

Dileep would play a police officer in the movie Inspector Karudu to be directed by John Anthony.

The duo had earlier combined to render a hit in movies like Kochi Rajavu and CID Moosa. Inspector Karudu would be a typical Dileep's film. It would be the story of a police officer narrated in a hilarious manner.
