Comedian AVS is all set to direct a movie starring Krishnudu and Shraddha Arya in the leads. The film will go on floors in the last week of the month. Venkat Jagadeesh is producing the movie under the banner Tulasi Poojitha Films.

So, many years after he debuted as producer with Tarun-starrer Uncle, which was a super flop, he is turning director this year. He has roped in Mani Sharma as the music director.

The film will wrap up shooting on April 20. Slated for a May release, it is learnt to be a love story. Also, the film will have loads of comedy, which will be taken care by Brahmanandam, Ali and Venu Madhav.

Hope AVS becomes successful in the second innings, after a brief sabbatical owing to ill-health in the last two years.
