Ahead of the Bhoomi Poojan at Ayodhya on Wednesday (August 5), preparations are reportedly being made to the fullest extent. Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra, which is organizing the event, has given updates regarding the much-awaited Poojan.

"We have invited 175 eminent guests. As many as 135 Pujya Sants belonging to 135 spiritual traditions will be present in the programme. Some eminent citizens of Ayodhya have also been invited. There are certain practical difficulties in the arrival of some guests due to the pandemic. Arrival of people who are aged above 90 years is not appropriate under present circumstances. Pujya Shankaracharya ji and many Pujya Sants have expressed inability to attend due to Chaturmas," a statement from the Trust said.

Who will be prsent on the stage? "Shri Mahesh Bhagchandka and Shri Pawan Singhal from the family of Shri Ashok ji Singhal will be Mukhya Yajman in Bhumi Pujan. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Shri Mohanji Bhagwat, Pujya Nritya Gopaldasji Maharaj, Governor Smt Anandiben Patel and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath will be present on stage," the Kshetra said.

Modi will first do a Darshan-Pujan at Shri Hanumangarhi Mandir. "Following this, he will do puja of Bhagwan Shri Ramlalla at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. It will be then followed by the Bhumi Pujan and the stage event," an official word from the Trust added.

As has been reported, sacred soil from more than 2000 pilgrim sites and water from more than 100 rivers has been brought to the temple town for the Bhumi Pujan. "We call upon all Shri Rambhakts across the world to organise Bhajan, Kirtan and Prasad distribution in all villages and cities while taking all necessary precautions to prevent spread of the virus," the Kshetra urged.
