According to the latest reports, the Tamil remake rights of Mollywood superhit 'Ayyapanum Koshiyum' starring Prithviraj and Biju Menon in the title roles has been bagged by S Kathireasan, who has produced acclaimed films like ‘Aadukalam’ and ‘Jigarthanda’. An official announcement regarding the Tamil remake is awaited though!

The revenge drama that revolved around an ego clash between a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, and a retired havildar named Koshy Kurian, essayed by Prithviraj, is written and helmed by Sachy. The movie hit the screens a month ago and was a huge success at the box-office grossing over rupees 50 crore. 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' is produced by the banner Gold Coin Motion Pictures.
