Stylish star Allu Arjun and Tamannah starrer action epic drama 'Badrinath' reportedly collected Rs 7.52 crore on the first day itself. Allu Arjun's home production Geetha Arts which produced this mega film announced that this is one of the highest openings in the history of Tollywood.

Geetha Arts claims that Badrinath collected Rs 1.64 crore in Nizam area, Rs 1.62 crore in CDED area, Rs 68 lakh in Guntur, Rs 30 lakh in West Godavari, Rs 32 lakh in East Godavari,Rs 75 lakh in Vizag, Rs 65 lakh in Kerala, Rs 76 lakh in Karnataka and Rs 25 lakh in North India.

Though the movie got bad reviews for poor screenplay and boring story, Geetha Arts claims that the movie is doing extremely well interms of collections. V V Vinayak is the director for the film and M M Keeravani is the music director.
