Julie's first brush with the public was through the Jallikattu agitation that happened in Tamil Nadu during January this year  in which she won many hearts with her energetic and innovative slogans against the ruling party.  Later selected to the 'Bigg Boss Tamil' show as contestant initially she had the audience on her side but later they turned against her due to her altercations with the crowd favorite Oviya Helen.

Rumors have started spreading that Julie has bagged a coveted role as Vijay's sister in the soon to begin 'Thalapathy 62' directed by A.R, Murugadoss.  When we got in touch with the sources close to the team they denied knowledge of any such casting but who knows what the ace director has in mind and till an official confirmation comes Julie can enjoy the limelight as a possible Vijay costar.  Curiosity in Kerala for Thalapathy Vijay's next film is very high after the mega success of his 'Mersal'.
