Actor-producer Dhanush delivered a surprise hit at 12:00 a.m. on Tuesday to mark the birthday of Superstar Rajinikanth. The second poster of 'Kaala' was released and India's last superstar is seen wearing a domineering look in it. Since the crime-drama is partly set in the backdrop of a slum, the poster comes with soot-tanned faces and more. But since it's Rajini who is the leader, sunglasses are in order!

The film's release date is now uncertain since '2.0' has been postponed to April. Dhanush could be looking at an August release, if some reports are to be believed.

Directed by Pa.Ranjith of 'Kabali' fame, the film also stars Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil, Sayaji Shinde and Sakshi Agarwal in key roles. Wunderbar Films is bankrolling it.
