'Break Ke Baad' has sunk at the box office with hardly any excitement remaining amongst patrons to watch the film even as it has entered it's second week. Collections hovering around the 15 crore mark at the end of first week are barely face saving but not the kind that the actors would have bargained for when they signed the film.

The manner in which this Kunal Kohli production has seen rapid decline in footfalls, it is apparent that 'Break Ke Baad' would barely cross the 20 crore mark. This means that it would join the likes of 'We Are Family' and 'Lafangey Parindey', both of which boasted of similar lifetime collections and were tagged as below average affairs.

For Deepika Padukone, 2010 hasn't been a happy hunting crowd box office wise with 'Housefull' being her only success, solace would come from the fact that in each of her other four films - 'Karthik Calling Karthik', 'Lafangey Parindey', 'Break Ke Baad' as well as 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey' - she has been appreciated for her confident act.

'Allah Ke Banday' has proven to be a disaster at the box office as well. The cracks were visible on the first day itself when the opening was a mere 10%. It didn't show any improvement whatsoever in the days to follow, as a result of which the film is not even in the running today. With pathetic collections to show, it is yet another instance of a good effort going down the drain due to unexciting cast, delay in release, dark theme and arrival amidst a crowd of dozens of other major films.

One won't say the same for 'Spanish Beauty', the dubbed version of Barbara Mori's which couldn't even breathe enough to complete one week at the box office. Expect sleazy cover design for the film once it arrives on DVD as that would be the only way that the makers would be able to recover some amount of moolah. 'Khuda Kasam', an age old film of Sunny Deol, won't even expect that as even North India, the target market of Deol films, could see any footfalls worthy enough to rejoice. A box office disaster.
