Rajasekhar has been bit of an enigma in Tollywood.

He has a good fan following. But almost all his recent films have broken box office records in plumbing new lows. His last release Aptudu was a major disaster. So much so critics were busy sharpening their pencils for writing an obituary on his film carerr.

But the doctor turned actor is not ready to go down without a fight.

He is now planning a major film to have one final shot at glory. And the road he is going to take is one he has traveled before ---- remake route. Rajasekhar who has made many Malayalam hits in Telugu, is remaking the Mammooty hit Black in Telugu.

The film is about a hero who doesn't mind the means as long as the end is justified. Mammooty played the hero called Shamugham. The film was a colossal success. Shriya Reddy was the heroine.

It is not clear who will play the heroine to Rajasekhar. The film's rights have been bought at a huge rate. The film is to be directed by Rajasekhar's trusted Kodi Ramakrishna and the produced by Sagar.

The other details of the film are being worked out.

Rajasekhar is hopeful that this will provide him the much-needed break.
