Indian cricketer Vijay Shankar has announced his engagement.  Taking to Instagram, he shared two pics of him with his fiancee Vaishali Visweswaran.

His colleagues such as KL Rahul, Sachin Baby, Karun Nair, Yuzvendra Chahal and Shreyas Iyer were among the earliest ones to congratulate him.  The 2019 World Cup player is seemingly elated about sharing the news.  The pair looks made for each other.  

The Tamil Nadu player, who has been delivering consistent results in national games, will reportedly play for the SunRisers Hyderabad in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 

When he was selected to chip in during a crucial match in last year's World Cup, Netizens on social media happened to troll Virat Kohli.  But his performance in that match was decent.
