Popular TV serial actress Devika Nambiar and singer Vijay Madhav got engaged at a private ceremony recently. Vijay Madhav and Devika are household names among Keralites. While Devika started her acting career with the TV show Balamani, Vijay Madhav shot to fame with his stint in a music reality show. Apart from serials, Devika has worked in few Malayalam and Tamil movies too. Meanwhile, composer Vijay Madhav had composed songs for a few Malayalam films. The actor has a Youtube channel and has been rendering cover versions of several Malayalam superhit songs of late.

Devika has worked in a few Malayalam and Tamil movies too including Kattapanayile Ritwik Roshan, Thanka Bhasma Kuriyitta Thamburatty, Ganesha Meendum Santhipom and others.
