Dileep is happy working in Sathyan Anthikad's film.

"His nephew was my college mate. Once I decided to work in the film industry, I tried to persuade his nephew to get me a foothold in the field as Anthikad assistant. In those days, my aim was to become someone in the film industry. Acting was never a choice then. Much later, after I became an actor, I realized that Anthikad had no idea about my desperate measures to enter the film industry," Dileep says.

And he adds, "For the first time, I play the lead in a Sathyan Anthikad's film. My maiden venture with him was in Thoovalkkottaram, as the younger brother of Jayaram, the hero."
