After the spectacular success of ‘Drishyam 2’, director Jeethu had announced his next project titled '12th Man' that features Mohanlal in the lead. While the shoot of the movie is progressing, the filmmaker has now announced yet another movie titled ‘Kooman’. Taking to his Instagram handle, the director announced his next that will feature Asif Ali in the lead role. Along with the title announcement, Jeethu Joseph also unveiled the title motion poster which comes with a tagline that reads ‘The Night Rider’.

Actor Asif Ali also shared the motion poster on his official Instagram handle and penned a note that read, “The much-awaited announcement is here! Teaming up with Jeethu Joseph.” Going by the motion poster, which shows silhouette of trees, and also a snake crawling and an owl in the background, it looks like the upcoming movie is a fantast horror-thriller. It's the first time that the actor Asif Ali is teaming up with the renowned director Jeethu Joseph and for the same matter, the expectation levels are really high. Koomam also features Renji Panicker, Baburaj, and Jaffar Idukki in pivotal roles. The movie will go on floors on February 24.

Meanwhile, director Jeethu Joseph has several other highly anticipated movies in the pipeline, including ‘Ram’ and ‘12th Man’, both featuring Mohanlal in the lead role.
