Dr Biju is always in news because of his rude behaviour. Recently he hit on news columns again as he insulted Adoor Gopalakrishnan`s recent flick Pinneyum. The movie stars Dileep and KavyaMadhavan and got positive reviews from critics. As per Dr Biju, all these praises are because of the respect people giving to Adoor, nothing more. He did not expect such a movie from Adoor. He stated that it is 'an amateur movie' which doesn't even hold the standard of a school drama. Also it lacks both creative and technical perfection. Added to this he has also pointed heaps over-dramatic incidents, with badly-written dialogues and childish scenes.

He also mentioned that the last classic movie from Adoor is Vidheyan after that he miserable failed to give such classics and which adversely affect the parallel film industry. Also believes age is not a barrier for making good movies and pointing out Sathayjith Ray and Roman Polanski as the best examples for the same.

Adoor has not replied anything regarding this issue.
